**WELCOME TO MATH TEAM WEBPAGE**

Demonstrating Achievement in MathematicsCompleting a math portfolio that clearly demonstrates the achievement of state standards is a graduation requirement for students at East Side Community High School. This rigorous process gives our students the opportunity to create a clear portrait of the mathematician that they have grown to become throughout their years at East Side. Being a member of the New York Performance Standards Consortium, our students complete a high-level Performance Based Assessment Task (PBAT) in lieu of the New York State Math Regents Exam. This PBAT is one of our key portfolio requirements. What are the portfolio requirements in our Middle School and High School? What types of work go into the math portfolio? - Exhibitions (projects)
- Struggle Problems
- Portfolio Test Problems
- Math Journal Entries
- Portfolio Presentations
